Marie E. Reidy received her Juris Doctorate in 2002. She graduated from the University of South Florida and attended the New England School of Law. Prior to graduation from law school, she worked for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. She was immediately hired by a general practice firm, where she specialized in family law and real estate. Attorney Reidy opened her own practice and continues to concentrate on divorce and matrimonial law and real estate, primarily conducting closings for the banks, but also representing buyers and sellers. She can also help you with your estate planning needs. She is one of the few Certified Family Law Mediators practicing on the South Shore. Attorney Reidy is also a Guardian Ad Litem for the Probate and Family Court in various counties, where judges appoint her to investigate various issues concerning children, including custody, visitation, removal and allegations of domestic violence or drug or alcohol abuse. She is also a Parent Coordinator and Collaborative Lawyer.

Attorney Reidy has presented seminars for the South Shore Women’s Center. Marie has received top honors from LawyerRatingz.com, scoring 5 out of a possible 5 in terms of knowledge, communication, tenacity, work quality and value. She is rated one of the top forty lawyers nationally by LawyerRatingz.com.

Attorney Reidy offers her time as Lawyer of the Day for Plymouth County Probate and Family Court, offering pro bono services to those people who need her services. She is also currently participating in the pilot program for Norfolk County Probate and Family Court to offer Limited Assistance Representation to those litigants who can’t always afford to have a lawyer throughout their entire proceedings.

She primarily practices in Plymouth County, but also services Norfolk and Bristol Counties as well.

Attorney Reidy understands that people who need a lawyer are frequently in a state of transition and strives to offer a personal approach with her clients, meeting with them personally and staying in constant communication via phone and email, returning all calls and correspondences the same day.
